Mission
The Academy L'Arte nel Cuore E.T.S. was founded in October 2005 and is the first project in Italy of artistic education for young people with and without disabilities.
It is an Academy conceived and designed for teaching people with and without disabilities, in order to develop artistic talent in a professional environment, with the aim of achieving, through art, the integration of young people with disabilities into the world around them.
Where conditions allow, the young people are supported in entering the world of work through the activities of L'Arte nel Cuore Agency, an organisation created within the Association to promote the image of the students in the entertainment world.
The President of the Association and creator of the project is Daniela Alleruzzo.
The centre is at Via Ugo Amaldi 8 Roma.
The website is www.artenelcuore.it and the email address is info@artenelcuore.it.
Quality Policy
- The purpose of the Quality Charter of the Association L'Arte nel Cuore E.T.S. is to make known the characteristics of the services offered to its young people, in line with the objectives that the organisation pursues. It is also a documentation tool for all the people who work within the organisation.
- The purpose of the Association is to encourage and promote concrete help aimed at the integration of people with disabilities into social life. The methods used and the professional skills employed make it possible to express and develop artistic potential in order to encourage their inclusion in the social economy.
- The Management, responsible for the Quality Policy, undertakes to spread its contents, raising awareness at all levels of the organisation through regular meetings, in order to pursue its mission and objectives as effectively as possible.
- The Management, together with the internal staff, holds regular meetings with the local social services. The Department of Social Policies of the City of Rome carries out, with its own staff, two visits a year to the organisation.

- The Association undertakes to provide, together with the Charter, documentation setting out the main characteristics of the training service offered, the methods of access and the final assessment method.
Operational level
The implementation of the Quality System procedures is part of the day-to-day activities of the Management. In line with what is set out in the Quality Policy, the Association L'Arte nel Cuore undertakes to plan, implement and monitor the activities of the organisation with the aim of offering training services in continuous improvement. How well the offer matches the needs of the students is one of the factors to be monitored as the training offer evolves.
This allows the Association to create new programmes that are, as far as possible, able to follow the developments of the labour market. It is also essential to measure user satisfaction, assessed through questionnaires given in all courses, so as to draw useful ideas for improving the offer.
Activities are continuously monitored thanks to reports from all the staff involved. This makes it possible, if the service does not comply with the quality requirements, to take corrective action to remove the causes of the problem.
The Head of the management process defines the timing and methods of the corrective action and arranges for checking its effectiveness and implementation.
Below is the table showing the model for recording and checking the aspects considered strategic for the continuous improvement of the quality of the training services offered, where:
- Quality factors: key elements to be overseen in relation to quality management
- Quality indicators: criteria for quantitative measurement and qualitative assessment to plan and control the oversight of the quality factors identified
- Quality standards: targets that the Association undertakes to adopt for each factor according to the related indicator
- Verification tools: methods by which compliance with the standards set to guarantee and protect the client is checked periodically.
