A shower of stars on Thursday 15 October at the San Salvador nightclub in Rome for the big party celebrating ten years of L'Arte nel Cuore.

Hostesses of the evening were Rosaria Renna, RDS presenter, and the actress Giorgia Wurth.

The event's testimonial was the producer Ermanno Guida of Kimera film, fresh from the success of Non essere cattivo, the film by Claudio Caligari chosen to represent Italy at the Oscars, who confirmed his commitment to making Daniela Alleruzzo's idea and dream come true: a feature film starring the students of the Academy. The evening was introduced by the artistic director, the actor Emiliano De Martino, currently on the set of Una pallottola nel cuore 2 with Gigi Proietti, and opened with the screening of a teaser that retraced, through images, the most significant moments in the history of the Academy, with interviews with Claudio Baglioni, Pippo Baudo, Heather Parisi and some AS Roma footballers who have supported the Association over these ten years. Loud applause greeted some clips of the shows staged by the young people, from Con le tasche piene di miracoli to the very recent Una pensione tutta pazza, as well as their part in the Rai 1 drama series Una Grande famiglia 3.

During the event the short film Oltre la linea was screened, directed by Paolo Geremei (produced by the Federazione Italiana Sport Disabilità Intellettiva Relazionale in collaboration with CONI), who wanted to tell the story of his experience working with young people with disabilities. The creation of a theatre company was also announced, produced by L'Arte nel Cuore and made up of 15 students of the Academy, who from 17 to 20 December will make their debut at the Teatro San Genesio in Rome in the show directed by Imma Piro*, O' scarfalietto*, an adaptation of the text by Edoardo Scarpetta.

Founded in 2005, L'Arte nel Cuore can boast, in its long record, important collaborations with famous musicians and artists, including Tony Esposito, Alessio Boni, Giorgio Marchesi and Luca Capuano. It has made three short films, Il Riscatto, Silenzio, and the very recent Oltre la linea. Several young people from the Academy have reached important milestones: some of them acted in the Raiuno drama series Una grande famiglia 3, others took part in two short films, in December the theatre company's tour will begin, and future plans also include making a film. This year the students of L'Arte nel Cuore also had a box-office hit, staging the show Una pensione tutta pazza at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome, directed by Emiliano De Martino and Marta Iacopini.
