3 years course + 1 year specialization
The Academy is divided into different courses according to the attitudes and demands of students, that is:
Scenography, Hairstyling and make-up, Photography, Costume Design

- Scenography:
the first lessons will be about the basics of geometry, perspective, axonometric drawing, projection of solids and architectural elements to get to the theatrical perspective and its working. History of scenography and theater history, from the Greek theater to the contemporary one, fundamental issues of costume history and set design elements. Each student will be able to study in innovative way, developing his creativity not strictly keeping to theoretical rules but giving free rein to his imagination through individual and common pathways provided the teacher’s guidance. The course includes even practical work sessions on stage about performances that will be represented by the students of the Academy. The educational materials are made available by the Academy.
- Hairstyling and Make-up:
there are two specific courses, which the student can choose according to his aptitudes and orientations.
a)Make-up: This course is designed to make students able to practice all typologies of make-up, from everyday make-up to body-painting. During the first year students will learn basics and techniques useful for stage make-up, and proper use of brushes and tools, which are very important skills for make-up artist who must be able to use correctly. In the second year, students learn “Glamour fashion show” make-up and wedding make-up. Finally the third year will be dedicated to stage make-up (from artificial aging to artificial wounds) and basics of body-painting. The educational materials are made available by the Academy.
b)Hairstyling: the first year course includes studying of hairstyling techniques beginning from the structure of hair, coloring, drying and perm, coming to the second year course concerning cutting, draft and hair bleaching. The third year course, instead, is about an advanced programme including the theater hairstyles. The educational materials are made available by the Academy.
- Photography:
this course give students the knowledge of the main techniques of photography from reflex camera, exposure, basics of image composition, etc. … to digital processing of image by using software. The studying of major authors and masters of photography, history of photography and reportage photography are instead the subject of third year. Each student needs to hold a personal camera.
- Costume Design:
the programme provides an opportunity for students to study historical analysis of clothing and fabric in depth, researching and testing settings of graphic design and practical laboratories where made projects.
In addition to the historical costumes, students will be able to design personal creations related to their own imagination. The educational materials are made available by the Academy.
