| The training courses offered by the Academy L’Arte nel Cuore are constantly supported by the work of a psycho-pedagogical équipe coordinated by psychologist and psychotherapist Dr.ssa Rosa Elisa Miceli with help of Dr.ssa Maria Elena Mastrangelo and Dr.ssa Anna Fittipaldi.
The TEAM focuses its intervention on the following objectives:
- Promoting constructive group dynamics
The work of psychologists is aimed at stimulating active
listening, dialogue and confrontation with and between teachers and students, based on the principles of dynamics group and transactional analysis.
- Play tutoring during lessons
These Professionals alternate their presence in the educational spaces of the Academy l’Arte nel Cuore to ensure a permanent presence of support during the conduct of educational activities.
They do preventive work and psycho-educational intervention compared to problematic behaviors, following the methodology proposed by the clinical psychology and behavioral psychology.
- Education and teacher training
- The psychologist carries out specific training activities for teachers of the Academy in order to include the various forms of disabilities within the educational activity.
- Offer personal services
- The service offers individual psychological interviews for students and families. At the entrance in the School Course and Academy Course they are made after interviews, meetings with psychologists aimed at collecting medical history, analysis of the skills, expectations and motivation. Afterwards the students can meet the psychotherapist to share the experience and the emotional experiences related training activities carried out, and to analyze any personal problems and / or relationship that interfere with the learning and the training course. There is a listening center that offers consulting and support for parents, compared to the characteristics of the various syndromes and the different stages of cognitive development, emotional and relational.
- Carry out research
- The équipe plays stably research aimed at evaluating the social impact of the activities at L’Arte nel Cuore, about students with disabilities and able-bodied. For this, we use international acknowledge tests and activities are conducted in according to the methodology of research in psychology, under the supervision of experts.
